The purpose of the Libertarian Party of West Michigan is to give voice to the Preamble and the Statement of Principles of the national Libertarian Party Platform, in Kent County and in adjacent counties that have no Libertarian Party organization by:

  • nominating and supporting candidates for political office
  • initiating and/or supporting ballot proposals
  • lobbying elected officials
  • engaging in educational and other informational activities to promote the libertarian perspective
