You can now make an online contribution to the Libertarian Party of West Michigan. What does your money go toward?

By law, the LPWM can collect and spend funds on two types of activities:  (1) federal and state campaign activities, and (2) other activities that are purely administrative in nature. 

The LPWM regularly spends money on the following campaign activities:

-- Radio and newspaper advertisements in the West Michigan area, promoting liberty and the Libertarian Party 

-- Public events, such as candidate forums 

-- Party promotion, such as "Vote Libertarian" yard signs and direct mail

-- Website hosting of campaign websites for our candidates

The LPWM regularly spends money on the following administrative activities:

-- Regular monthly programs and occasional banquets and speakers promoting libertarian ideas

-- Quarterly LPWM newsletters

-- The non-campaign portions of this website

We could use your help to keep up our activities so that the message of individual freedom and personal responsibility has a voice in West Michigan. PLEASE NOTE: Unless you specify otherwise, the LPWM may elect to use your contribution for federal or state campaign purposes, or for administrative purposes.  Contributions to the LPWM are not considered charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes, but may be deductible for state income tax purposes. Corporate contributions are prohibited for campaign purposes, but may be accepted for administrative purposes. Contributions by foreign nationals are prohibited.
