What can I do?

Letters

  1. Write letters to the editorWhen you have a letter published, send it in to us so that we can post it on the site.
  2. Be a letter scanner. When you read a letter to the editor that's written from a libertarian slant, research the person's name and phone number and do one of two things. Join the welcome committee and send out letters and make calls to potential members or forward the info to our membership director, Bill Gelineau.

Outreach

  1. Join/lead a discussion group. We have a number of members who are looking for fellow Libertarians to discuss principles and just hang out over a good beer.
  2. Work on our GVSU outreach.  We're looking at starting up a student group at Grand Valley State and we need people willing to go a few times to introduce the LP to the students.
  3. Do you have your own idea? Contact us with whatever it is you think.
  4. Participate on the public discussion page on this web site. Have something interesting to say? Well, here's the place to air your complaints, compliments, or whatever.

Donate Money

  1. Your money is critical to funding our future success. Without money, we are powerless to promote liberty and change. Donate today to help us tomorrow.
  2. Join the Liberty Pledge program. Be a monthly or quarterly pledger. We will send out reminders so that you don't forget to offer your regular support for our local activities.
  3. Host a fundraiser or come up with some creative ideas for raising money. We're always looking for fun and new ways of raising money that help with party building as well as raising cash. Send your ideas to our treasurer, Bill Hall.
